In September, ISLA held its 2019 Conference in Zurich. Here you find a short report (in German): read more. It was a big success and ended with an interesting visit of FIFA Home.

Prof. Anne Jakob elected as President

After the Conference in Zurich, ISLA conducted its members’ meeting including the elections of the board. As a result, the members elected Prof. Dr. Anne Jakob, LL.M. (GER) as the new president. Former president Dr. Jochen Fritzweiler, after many years of serving the Association, did not candidate for the presidential chair anymore. However, he remains a member of the board. A. Jakob thanked Dr. Fritzweiler for its valuable work and continuing efforts for ISLA. She also presented her ideas for ISLA’s future and invited the members to contribute to a vital future of the Association.

Dr. Christian Kraehe and Dominique Abrokwa were re-elected as board members.

The board has its first meeting on November 28, 2019. Results will be published on the website.
